MDLIVE has grown drastically over the past few years. What started out as a call-center-only service became an application connecting providers to patients, at any time of day, with no-denial-of-service to any user.

Our application has grown organically, and we are now in a transition phase where the engineering team is extremely motivated to implement best practices like Object Oriented Design (we are huge believers of Sandi Metz's book POODIR), Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, and Agile development.

We're looking for someone that can be a true leader in bringing a culture of modern best-practices to our team, including working with our Junior Developers to bring them up to speed, while implementing the teachings of Sandi Metz's 'Practical Object Oriented Design in Ruby'. It's important to us that we find the right developer – no matter where they live – so we're open to remote positions as well.
