In 1999, when Pets.com and Amazon.com were hot, two University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) professors launched their cloud-based learning platform in Santa Barbara, CA. Today, Mindflash is based in Palo Alto, CA and is used by over 1,100 customers from Apple to Uber. Mindflash has delivered over 7 million courses, has one of the highest Net Promoter Scores in the industry and our customers love the easy UI and powerful features.
We believe that there is more to life than work; we do our best work when we live balanced lives. We work hard and play hard. As an Agile company, we have completed over 100 sprints. Revenue has grown more than 750% over the last 3 years and we are profitable. We pride ourselves on our diversity - by age, gender, ethnic origin, interests, past professions, educational backgrounds and more.
We have an open culture and share business results almost every Tuesday at our All-Hands meetings. We bring our remote and Palo Alto teams together using virtual tools and fly the whole team in about once a quarter.

We usually have a 30-minute phone conversation with the hiring manager. This conversation will cover your background and our requirements and ensure there is a good fit. The next step is usually a phone-based technical interview or two. We will dive into some of your projects to understand how you approached those problems, why you chose certain approaches over others, etc. We don't do coding exercises and we don't believe in brainteasers. If you have projects on Github or other places, we would love to see them.
The final step is to come and spend a half-day with the team members you will work with. This includes fellow developers, product development, marketing, etc. You will get a chance to learn about the other facets of the company and how your role plays into it. We decide fairly quickly if we are going to make an offer or not and let you know, so you aren't left wondering.
