The Monroe Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the world leader in human consciousness exploration and has a 50-year legacy of helping people live more meaningful and joyful lives through the guided exploration of expanded states of awareness. Tens of thousands of people have had life-changing experiences at our residential retreats on our campus nestled in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Aided by audio brainwave entrainment technology that we’ve developed and refined over the past five decades, our participants reach states of expanded awareness in one week that are normally attained after years of meditation. Our participants have included renowned authors in the mindfulness space, buddhist monks, celebrities, and we’ve even trained psychic spies for the CIA.
