Welcome to Ninja Metrics. We make the world’s most valuable tools for measuring the social value of people. We began developing this technology in 2006, and started the company formally in 2010 as a university lab spin-out founded by Dmitri Williams at USC and Jaideep Srivastava at Minnesota. Since then we’ve raised money, built a product, and grown from a tiny startup into a slightly less tiny startup that is now growing further.
Let’s take a moment here to think about joining a company with a name like ours. We are clearly not IBM. We don’t make widgets. We make incredibly advanced technology, and it’s not easy. We hire only the best to pull it off, so you must be pretty good at what you do.
Our standards are high, but this is not the kind of organization where a supervisor is going to be staring at you and asking you about your level of personal commitment. Ninjas drive themselves, and they work hard because they believe in what they’re doing. We love what we do and we get things done.
We also work well together. We talk. A lot. We use video chats, chat software, conferences, etc.--anything to keep communication active and flowing. You’re joining a team of very smart people, but even smart people need to work with others. You will play a key role in our success, and you’ll do it by doing great work and being part of this awesome team of ninjas.
