The competencies, technologies, IP and know-how we have acquired throughout this journey of innovation and self-disruption can be applied to solve many complex problems in the grocery sector, and beyond.

Our founding vision was to use a huge amount of technology and automation to transform the online grocery space. There was no template for the solution we wanted to build. And so we set out to develop from scratch the the technology that would move the industry to the next level.

Today, Ocado is the world's largest online-only grocery retailer. The Ocado Smart Platform is the most advanced end-to-end e-commerce and fulfilment platform. Born at the intersection of five disruptive technologies - AI, Robotics, Cloud, Big Data, and IoT - OSP spans an award-winning webshop native apps, and voice ordering, our highly automated warehouses – the largest and most sophisticated of their kind in the world – and a suite of smart software for a highly-efficient and optimised last mile.

For us, innovation is business as usual. It's not just about disruption, it's about serial self-disruption. Our technology estate is very broad and deep and we build almost all of this technology ourselves.
