The founders of Ondo were previously working on digital assets at Goldman Sachs. There they explored different opportunities and technologies for new products leveraging cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance and blockchains. Since banks are still restricted by regulations from engaging in crypto, the founders left to form Ondo to bring those ideas to market quickly.
