Oort was founded by Matt Caulfield after 10 years at Cisco working on everything from cloud computing to networking, to security. As a Principal Engineer, Matt led the Boston Innovation Team for Cisco where he worked with a small team to surface emerging technologies, such as Edge Computing.
Now at Oort, the team is on a mission to build the Oort Cloud. A global security fabric that spans thousands of geographically-distributed sites around the world to deliver an unprecedented improvement to how cybersecurity is both delivered and consumed.
