Rithm’s full-stack web development program is a four-month accelerated learning experience. We take independent and thoughtful students and turn them into confident and creative full-stack developers. We value an intimate learning community and therefore our class sizes are 8-16 students. Our curriculum is centered around JavaScript and Python, and also features four weeks of time to contribute meaningfully to real world projects.
Over the past year and a half, we've seen our class sizes grow from 3 to 16, but our vision is still the same - we believe that for-profit education does not scale. Our founding team has taught at multiple bootcamps and has seen what happens when education companies scale too quickly. We already have three experienced instructors, and are looking for a fourth instructor to join our incredible team. We help students develop strong skills in JavaScript, Python, Git, along with different front- and back-end frameworks. Aside from lecturing, you’ll be functioning as a lead developer for five weeks in each class when students are working on company projects on production codebases.
A typical day as an instructor at Rithm involves some combination of direct instruction, working with students in smaller groups, reviewing assignments, and managing students as they work on larger projects. Because we keep our class sizes small, instructors at Rithm are very hands-on with students, and most of your time will be spent interacting directly with them as they debug their code and try to solve problems.
