/tone delivers mobile network operator communications services through its equity partnership with the GSMA. /tone engages and benefits society through its global public private partnership initiative with the US State Department. /tone benefits people and businesses by reducing their cost of communications while enabling access to world class content with confidence that their data is private. /tone enables unlimited access to personalized collections of media and applications from leading brands, media companies, developers, enterprises and institutions. /tone serves underserved communities with tools that improve their life and trade.

/tone’s platform powers a private ecosystem of direct connections between GSMA mobile network operators and certified partner brands, media companies, developers, enterprises and institutions. /tone partners choose to sponsor or sell access to their content. /tone prices localize based standard network wholesale rates. /tone reports anonymous private composites of each permission based exchange between mobile subscribers and our partner ecosystem. Partners own their engagement data, network operators own their subscriber data. There is no data scraping, selling or sharing without explicit permission.

Campaign
/tone recently announced it is launching with the Secretary of State John Kerry’s Our Ocean campaign.

mFish is the /tone of Our Ocean. /mFIsh empowers small scale and artisanal fishers with mobile tools to improve their life and trade. mFish uses the power of commercially viable mobile technology to help make fishing more sustainable and improve the lives of fishermen and their communities. mFish will use mobile services to provide real-time information to help fishermen, managers and the seafood industry to communicate, access information and share data seamlessly. Information can be used to collect and analyze catch data, monitor illegal fishing, trace seafood along supply chains, and improve fishing safety.
