Job Description

Position Summary:

* The Sr. BSA needs to understand and document project scope and objectives through research and fact-finding and with guidance of higher-level BSAs. Sr. BSA is an advanced level position that will be responsible for participating in multiple high visibility projects or one large scale project at a time. Under minimal supervision, the Sr. BSA uses established procedures for performance of standard and routine assignments to conclusion; a Sr. BSA is expected to handle many unusual problems, but some which may require exceptions to procedures or processes are referred to the supervisor for guidance.

Essential Job Functions:

* Documents scope of intermediate software update requests through research and fact-finding.
* Captures the customer's business requirements and business process management.
* Translates business requirements to specific, unambiguous and complete functional requirements that will be relied upon by designated project team.
* Collaborates with the project team to communicate and validate all necessary requirements have been fulfilled.
* Provides estimates for the BSA deliverable
* Mentors and serves as the subject matter expert for the BSA team

Education:

* Four (4)-year college degree in information technologies; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Experience:

* three (3) - four (4) years of experience, preferably in the insurance industry, including one (1) - two (2) years of directly related experience or in the capacity of a BSA II; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
