Under general supervision, this position will perform duties as outlined in the NOC Standard Operating Procedures with a focus on network/systems infrastructure troubleshooting and reporting. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to network monitoring and management, recording and resolving customer issues in a timely manner utilizing the provided software tool sets. Following SOP/SLA guidelines, provide the escalation of Critical Incidents to NOC Management to facilitate governmental reporting requirements. Typical solutions being supported include Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Out of Band Management Solutions (modems), and networking devices (switches, routers and firewalls).
Qualification:
One to three years of education or related work experience
MCP or CCENT desired
MCSA, VCA or CCNA a plus.
Experience with administering CRM and one or more of the following Monitoring Solution a plus:
