Job Description

Lead all aspects of engineering to design, develop, test, and deploy advanced sensor payloads for Unmanned Undersea Vehicles. This emerging product area is poised for growth, and the individual who takes on this role will be at the forefront of BAE Systems initiatives to increase the effectiveness of our Navy customers by providing them with effective, affordable, unmanned sensor systems. Payloads to be developed and adapted to UUV use include Signal Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, Sonar, EO/IR and Communications.

This role focuses on leading, planning and executing development, integration, and test activities. BAE Systems has a substantial pool of Subject Matter Experts in all payload types and specialists in hardware, software, and system engineering, whose expertise must be harnessed to develop and field UUV payloads. You will lead a team of engineers in the development effort. You will be the primary technical point of contact for the customer.
