Job Description

Summary Use torches, lathes, comparators, and various other tools required to perform basic and intermediate bulb and air jet assembly, under general supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Cut, clean and prepare quartz tubing for production use.

Dose bulb fills to required specifications.

Monogram, test, and perform final inspection of bulbs.

Prepare, assemble, adjust and inspect air jet assemblies.

Prepare and inspect stem assemblies.

Train to perform Bulb Maker II tasks

Maintain all appropriate paperwork and documentation as required.

Support tasks as required to promote quality improvement activities.

The duties of this job normally require exposure to a typical manufacturing area where frequent standing, sitting, stooping and squatting can be expected along with frequent lifting and/or moving of tooling, parts, containers and materials up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral and depth perception and ability to focus. Position also requires ability to sit for extended periods of time while performing desk-related activities
