Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.

This position will report to the PIT Director for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD). This position is responsible to work with IPTs and functions to ensure Enterprise Integration across the GBSD TM/RR contract. Candidate will be working with multiple disciplines and sites, coordinating program requirements with IPT leads across the IS, MS and TS sectors. Candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree


* 3 years of experience in Project Management, Program Operations, Program Integration, or Logistics


* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)


* Must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years.


* Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Programs Access
