Description:

Responsible for analyzing, defining and establishing design of all technical aspects, and providing technical expertise for IT solutions on intermediate and large complexity IT systems and/or projects; maintaining and using knowledge of solutions and IT landscape to explore and identify possible solutions related to defined technical problems, and finding opportunities to improve business solutions support; and maintaining and participating in the creation of elements for complex solutions.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Solving unique and complex technical problems that occur during daily operations; acting as a point of escalation for moderate, non-routine technical problems;
* Overseeing user enhancement requests to support one or more business solutions, and investigating these operational problems/solutions requirements;
* Leading tests for the ongoing maintenance of business solutions or configurations of solutions; designing, building, and deploying complex solutions/systems independently;
* Developing technical roadmaps and operational plans for complex business solutions, in order to develop/improve functionality within solutions or the technical landscape;
* Maintaining and influencing technical roadmaps, ensuring that operations are aligned with roadmaps and communicating status of projects;
* Applying System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to solutions and instructing others to work accordingly;
* Ensuring execution and documentation according to Takeda Quality Management System (QMS), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Project Life Cycle (ITPLC) standards, policies and procedures; and
* Coaching or leading lower-level Engineers and other technical groups.

Requirements:

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in content management technology, including at least 1 year of experience supporting validated systems within the bio-pharmaceutical industry, working with 21 CFR 11, and GxP compliance in a regulated environment. We will also accept a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of progressively responsible post-degree experience in the stated areas.
