ECS is the best way to run containers in AWS. We need Software Development Engineers who want to make it even better. The Elastic Container Service is the infrastructure that our customers use to launch hundreds of millions of containers each week. Our ability to scale and launch new features while maintaining availability is what sets us apart and keeps us growing fast.

You will be joining a rapidly growing team with the charter to improve performance, reliability and operational excellence as our system scales by building tools that will be used by hundreds of engineers. Here, you have the chance to be a part of defining how we will reach new levels of scale and operational excellence within AWS by identifying common gaps in how teams are operating their service and designing and building the tools that are needed to close those gaps.

Are you interested in measuring, predicting and improving the customer-facing performance, reliability and operational processes of services that are growing at AWS-scale? This team will address very unique scaling and implementation problems that directly impact how Amazon ECS and other AWS teams measure and manage reliability and performance.
