How will you make an impact?

The Senior Digital Forensic Examiner has global responsibility for the company's efforts around digital forensic incident response (DFIR) investigations such as forensic analysis of media and log data. This individual will conduct forensic analysis, recommend and develop process and policy pertaining to preservation and handling of evidence, standardization of tools and methods, and related roles and responsibilities.

What will you do?

* Develop and maintain processes and playbooks for:
* Preservation and handling of evidence
* Examination/Analysis of media and log data
* Requesting forensic services


* Design/define a collaborative forensic environment and processes to enable shared analysis across multiple examiners
* Coaches/mentors junior level forensic examiners
* Drives maturity of forensic capabilities
* Performs forensic examination and analysis of media and log data according to generally accepted best practices
* Provide clear and concise reports to appropriate personnel based on analysis of data


* Coordinates with appropriate members of Corporate Information Security, Legal, and Human Resources in support of investigations
* Works with key vendors, open source communities, forums, and other groups to ensure best practice
* Work with staff and management across all levels of the organization.
* Support peers within the Corporate Information Security Program as needed.
* Ensures consistency, documentation, and forensically sound processes are followed at all times
* Supports incident response activities as appropriate
* Perform other duties as assigned

How will you get here?

Education

* Bachelor's Degree in Digital Forensics, Cyber Security or related field - equivalent work experience acceptable
* Relevant technical certificates a plus

Experience

* 8+ years of related forensics and investigations experience
* Experience testifying to forensic findings in court is a plus


* Familiarity with forensic artifacts from a variety of operating systems
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
* GCFE, GCFA, CFCE, CCE, EnCE, CCFP or related certification(s)
* Comprehensive knowledge of and proven ability in the following:
* Digital forensic analysis and comprehensive reporting
* Relevant laws and regulations
* Handling of sensitive data

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
