JOB SUMMARY

Under general to broad supervision, manages and allocates infrastructure resources by monitoring and maintaining system platforms in support of CBRE's information technology operations. Provides secondary support for network hardware and software such as web applications and wide area network's (WAN) systems. May install and maintain UNIX servers. May serve as technical lead for projects with complex requirements. May also install and administer application software and manage the middleware component.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains and updates existing Tableau servers, tests client applications to determine compatibility with upgrades and works with clients to resolve any issues.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact on Tableau server engagements of moderate to high complexity including service tickets requiring expert analysis.

Involved with the investigation and resolution of complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment.

Under broad direction, designs and implements strategic partner onboarding.

Participates in capacity planning to ensure Tableau servers are adequately sized and configured to meet current and projected demand.

Participates in performance testing to ensure Tableau Server meets client application SLA's.

Develops and maintains internal tools. Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintain and support the Interworks Portal supporting Tableau.

Adhere to the Enterprise Reference Architecture while developing or enhancing a system/application

Adhere to security, compliance and best-practices guidelines

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments

Typically has 5+ years of experience as a Tableau Administrator.

Consideration is given to equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Requires advanced knowledge of Tableau Server Administrator including Installation, upgrading, monitoring, debugging, tuning and capacity planning.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Technical certifications in the specialty area, such as CISCO or Microsoft.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
