Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. Plans and implements methods to improve response. Participates in special studies. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Under the guidance of a senior level analyst, performs data management tasks as required by contract. We are looking for a subject matter expert (SME) with a technical or engineering degree with experience/expertise in at least three (3) of the following: robotics, unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, cyber, C4ISR, and/or ground combat. The candidate will support identification of future challenges and opportunities as well as development of warfighting concepts in order to inform the combat development process to meet the challenges of the future operating environment. in Quantico, VA. This position requires a DoD Secret ClearanceResponsibilities: Analyze requirements, capabilities gaps, and emerging/pacing threats Identify emerging capabilities, enhancements, and needs for improving/modernizing Marine Corps operational environment Work with mission stakeholders, users, and leadership to develop a strategic and execution roadmap for concept development, rapid prototyping, experimentation, testing, war-gaming, and evaluation Coordinate with the Combat, Development and Integration (CD&I) and Installations and Logistics (I&L) Next Generation Logistics (NEXLOG) efforts to incorporate requirements and logistics into the roadmap Create, maintain, and evolve the roadmap and make recommendations for further development and fielding of capabilitiesMandatory Skills and Experience: Knowledge in conducting analysis on highly complex problems or mission specific operational problems Ability to create an execution strategy for implementing technologies in the operational environment Proven experience/expertise in at least three (3) of the following: robotics, unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, cyber, C4ISR, and/or ground combat Experience with rapid prototyping, concept development, experiment design, and war-gaming exercises Current DoD Secret clearance
